Select League Addresses Unapproved Departure Announcements

The Select League has been notified of the public statements issued by Olathe United, Woodland FC, Southside FC, and First City regarding their intent to depart the league. We are currently working through the proper channels to review and address this matter in accordance with league policies and procedures.

While clubs are free to evaluate their competitive direction, the Select League does not condone actions taken outside of established communication and transition processes. Our priority is to ensure clarity, fairness, and stability for all member clubs.

The Select League remains strong and fully committed to preparing for the 2026 season. Planning is well underway, and we look forward to continuing to provide a competitive, development-focused environment for players, coaches, and communities across the region.
