Woodland Prepare to Host BOHFS in US Open Cup Round 2

Woodland FC have been granted the honor of hosting the second round of qualifying for the US Open Cup! They will be hosting BOHFS St. Louis on October 11th, 7pm, at Shawnee Mission District Stadium.

The Royals, who play host for the first time in this competition, are looking forward to the chance to make a better showing of themselves after being bounced from the tournament last season by Tulsa Athletic in a one-sided affair. BOHFS finished 2nd in their conference in the Midwest Premier League (MWPL), while Woodland FC finished 2nd in the Select League.

Woodland have bolstered their roster in the offseason to prepare for the postseason tournament and are excited to have most of their Select League roster still in place for the needed chemistry and experience.

Woodland are looking to shatter their attendance record during this match, a record of 296 set in the 2024 Select League opener against Southside FC. Woodland will be welcoming various media personalities as well, including Soccer Zombie STL, and On the Pitch podcast.
